Campus Students: Important Update Regarding Living Expenses Checks

While classes and campus are remaining closed on Thursday September 14th, Full Sail will be allowing campus based students who are expecting a living expense check this week to pick up their checks from 4:30pm to 5:15pm on Thursday, September 14, 2017. Please check your Connect email prior to coming to campus for notification verifying that you are scheduled to receive a check this week. Distribution will be held in the Building 1 Welcome Center. You must have your Full Sail student ID on your person.

If you are an online student or your living expense check is coming from a Plus loan, checks will be mailed as normal this week.

Any student who is not available to come to campus will be able to pick up their check from the business office once the office is reopened. Please continue to monitor Connect for these updates.

Please feel free to access https://campusportal.fullsail.com/ and view your financial summary to see if you are scheduled for a stipend this week before attempting to pick up.

We appreciate your understanding during this time of restoration.

Sincerely,
Full Sail University Business Office

All Campus Classes, Online Classes, Labs, and Staff Work Schedules to Resume Monday, September 18, at 9AM.

Full Sail Students and Staff,

Following the effects of Hurricane Irma, we are thankful to share that Full Sail’s campus has regained power in many of our main student and staff facilities, therefore we are prepared to reopen this Monday, September 18 to resume full student class schedules and staff work schedules.

Full Sail University’s campus will reopen Monday, September 18 at 9AM.

All campus classes, online classes and labs will resume on Monday, September 18 at 9AM.

Staff and Faculty are asked to return to work during their regularly scheduled hours on Monday, September 18.

Further assessments of campus indicated minimal damage to select locations, and restoration of designated areas may take some time to complete. However, classes that are regularly scheduled in these spaces will be temporarily relocated to new locations on campus.

Campus Students – Important Changes to your schedules week of 9/18-9/24:

The Education Department would like to ask all CAMPUS students to log into Connect, Sunday night, 9/17, after 6pm, and make note of 1) additional class make up sessions for your course(s) that have been added to the week of 9/18-9/24, and/or 2) new classroom assignments due to one or more buildings still being closed for restoration.

Again, we advise campus students to refer to Connect for updates regarding class locations. In the event any staff needs to be temporarily relocated on campus, your supervisor will contact you.

For all students with concerns regarding assignments, please rest assured that our instructors and advisors will continue to work with both online and campus students to extend deadlines and make pragmatic accommodations as needed. Any questions regarding assignments should be directed to individual faculty members and/or student advising.

Any students or staff members experiencing hardships or other extenuating circumstances related to Hurricane Irma are encouraged to reach out to student advising (for students) and leadership inside your department (for staff).

We look forward to welcoming all students, staff, faculty and guests back to campus on Monday!
