Registration Day: A Step-by-Step Guide

Full Sail’s orientation week kicks off with Registration Monday, where you’ll have your photo taken and get your student badge, check in with representatives from Admissions, Housing, and Financial Aid, and get answers to any questions you might have. The registration process is designed to get you the information you need as quickly and easily as possible. Here’s a step-by-step guide to what you can expect on Registration Monday.

Pre Check In

You’ll receive a registration start time before you arrive on campus. Depending on attendance, the registration experience lasts from 20-60 minutes. Although Full Sail is in sunny Florida, the campus buildings are chilly – you’ll want to bring a sweatshirt or other layers to keep warm during the registration process.

Once you arrive on campus, you’ll park in the Building 3 parking lot, then head to the Entertainment Business Lobby, where staff members will be waiting to direct you to tables for pre check in.

After you’ve completed pre check in, you’ll go to the Full Sail Live Venue with staff members to complete the rest of registration. If attendance is high, you can grab a map and hang out in the Entertainment Business Lobby while you wait for space to open up in the Live Venue. Be sure to check out the lobby’s multimedia Hall of Fame exhibition, which includes memorabilia like Grammys, Emmys, and film props from the inspiring careers of Full Sail grads.

Check In

Full Sail’s Live Venue has hosted everything from concerts to professional wrestling matches, but it’s set up for your needs on Registration Day. Once you’ve arrived at the Live Venue, you’ll queue up in the lobby and move through stations. You’ll check in, then head to the Security queue where you’ll have your photo taken and receive your Full Sail badge and a parking pass. Then you’ll move on to the Live Venue’s registration stations.

Registration Stations

At the Housing station, you’ll speak with Housing staff to make sure you have your housing plan in order. Next up is the Enrollment and Financial Aid station, where you’ll check on your enrollment documents and any pending financial aid tasks. If you need help completing your paperwork, staff members will take you to a side table to assist you. Additional staff members will be stationed throughout the Live Venue to help you move through the registration process and answer any new questions you might have.

If you’re a military or international student, you’ll head to the military or international stations or the Business Office for additional registration steps. If you don't need these stations, you’ll be finished with registration.

Once you’re done, you can exit the Live Venue and check out more of Full Sail’s campus. You can also ask the staff additional questions or connect with the other students who attended registration.

Registration is just the start of your Full Sail journey. Get ready for a hands-on education alongside like-minded creatives as you follow your dreams.

Note: If you are starting your program on our Flexible Enrollment path (online courses) prior to arriving to campus, you will have your Orientation Week events scheduled at the time of your on-campus transition.
