Gateway Scholarship for High School Seniors
Full Sail University is dedicated to the encouragement and development of future generations of entertainment media and technology professionals. In an effort to further this encouragement and development, Full Sail University introduces the Gateway Scholarship for High School Seniors. This scholarship is designed to offer assistance to students who have already begun their journey into the entertainment media and technology industries during their high school career.
The Gateway Scholarship for High School Seniors will award up to $15,000 to eligible campus bachelor's degree program candidates. Eligible students will have taken specialized course tracks at a partner high school recognized by Full Sail University to have an academy, program of emphasis, or Career and Technical Academy (CTE) program track that aligns with the degree programs offered at Full Sail University. Applicants are able to meet eligibility each Full Sail academic year based on academic performance as outlined below.
In order to be eligible for consideration, those applying for a Gateway Scholarship for High School Seniors must:
- Be a graduating high school senior earning a standard high school diploma
- Complete an entertainment media or technology-based academy, program of emphasis, or Career and Technical Education (CTE) program track at a Full Sail University–recognized partner high school, as verified by transcript from the high school
- Complete and submit this application and transcripts prior to first day of class
- Applicants who do not meet first academic year eligibility may still apply and be eligible for an award in a future academic year based on their Full Sail University GPA
Bachelor's degree program applicants may:
- Receive an award in their first academic year if they have earned a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Receive an award in any subsequent academic year if their Full Sail University cumulative GPA is 2.5 or higher
- Read this application thoroughly and complete the required information below.
- As applicable, submit final high school transcript prior to the first day of class. Your Full Sail University Enrollment Guide can provide additional information on submission of these items.

- Applicant’s high school transcript will be evaluated to determine eligibility for the first academic year award amount. Applicants do not have to be eligible for the first academic year award in order to be awarded in subsequent academic years.
- Recipients will be notified by the Financial Aid department prior to beginning each academic year, provided the eligibility requirements above are met.
- Applicant must be a first-time student and have applied for a Full Sail University campus bachelor's degree program.
- Applicant must begin the Full Sail University degree program within the calendar year of graduating high school.
- A change of degree program, interruption of training, or withdrawal may result in cancellation of scholarship award and disbursement. Student understands that a change of student status may impact eligibility.
- Scholarship funds will be disbursed by semester throughout the student's enrollment at Full Sail University.
- Funds from the Gateway Scholarship for High School Seniors may only be used toward the tuition of a Full Sail University campus bachelor's degree program.
- The Gateway Scholarship for High School Seniors is nontransferable and has no redeemable cash value.
- The Gateway Scholarship for High School Seniors may be combined with select Full Sail University scholarships; some restrictions apply.
- Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
