Employee Scholarship Opportunities

Full Sail is committed to investing in life-long learning for its employees consistent with our guiding principle – Learn and grow, always.

We are pleased to provide online education to employees through the Staff Development Scholarship, Legacy Scholarship, and Employee Trust Scholarship.

Full Sail offers many online bachelor's and master’s degrees. Descriptions of those degrees can be found here.

Learn more about the eligibility requirements for each below.

Staff Development Scholarship

  • The scholarship program is available to full-time (no part-time or contractors) employees in good standing who have served Full Sail University for at least one year. Employees are eligible to receive a full tuition online scholarship in exchange for committing to Full Sail for three years upon graduation. The three-year commitment starts after your graduation date. Manager approval is also required before being eligible for a scholarship.

Legacy Scholarship

  • Full Sail University is pleased to provide a limited number of scholarships of up to $40,000 to deserving first-time students of the university. Students are nominated for the Legacy Scholarship by the university’s industry partners, honored alumni, and staff. Recipients of this scholarship will be determined by the Full Sail University Scholarship Committee based on the student’s overall record of educational and professional achievement, future goals, and interest in pursuing a campus bachelor’s degree in the entertainment and media field.

Employee Trust Scholarship

  • Full Sail University is pleased to provide $1,000 per year of full-time service, with no cap, which can be used for your own online degree. In addition, you can also receive a scholarship toward your own online degree of 10% of the degree’s total tuition per year of full-time service. This scholarship caps at 5 years (50%). The 10% of tuition per year of service calculation excludes the Project Launchbox cost.
  • This program can be gifted to an immediate family member to use for their tuition in an online or campus program at Full Sail. Family members will only have access to the program while you are an active full-time employee at Full Sail. Please note, the percentage scholarship cannot be gifted, it is for active employees only. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.

Please Note: For employees looking to take an online master’s degree program, tax implications will apply. The full tuition master’s degree scholarship is considered a benefit/gift and will appear as income on your W-2. The IRS considers a gift of this type to be income over and above your pay.
